Sunline Xplasma Asegai Green is low friction braided line. It features Xplasma technology that dramatically improves slickness, abrasion resistance, and water repellent properties. Also its slickness and smoothness are improved 370% and 260% respectively over Sunline's conventional braided lines. The Xplasma process also improves hydrophobic capabilities of Asegai over 240% over standard braided lines allowing for longer casts and less freeze up in guides and reels in cold weather.

Developed with input from Brent Ehrler and Aaron Martens. They have used several generations of this line to reach this product. 125 yard spool size. Hi-Vis Yellow color. ULT-PE material for great improvement of abrasion resistance, which was the weak point of PE lines. Retains the suppleness of PE for stress free casting. Sleek finish to reduce guide friction and improved casting distance. Neutral buoyancy. Martens and Ehrler both wanted a neutral buoyancy for optimum bait performance.

Sunline has produced braided line since 1992. Since that time, Sunline braid was only available in the US to its professional fishing staff. In 2011, that all changes with the addition of Dean Rojas and a new braided product specifically for the US market. Dean is known as the best frog fisherman on the planet, so Sunline went to him to help develop a braided line that would be perfect for frog fishing and flipping.

Overwatch is an eight-strand high performance ULT braid designed for use on spinning reels. Overwatch is a metered braid that has repeating sections of 12” chartreuse and 30” green. The high visibility chartreuse sections improve bite detection and easier line watching. The green sections provide camouflage for the line if needed in certain situations. The metered pattern is quickly identifiable to the eye when cast out.
